Welcome to SYSTEMS FOR SCHOOLS
All software products are designed by a school leader for school leaders to be:
- Simple yet powerful tools for school improvement
- Highly automated to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Successfully tried and tested in the school environment
Products available:
- Vision Action Plan – The VAP system captures the whole process of school self-review and school development planning and provides a window on all key files and folders (policies, planning, reports, pupil and parent surveys, sources of evidence, key websites, etc) so that they are all available at the click of a button. The complete cycle of school improvement (from vision to audit to evidence to action planning to impact analysis) is contained within single-page interlinked spreadsheets for each aspect of school life.
The VAP upgrade now includes a SEF-writing facility and a set of audit standards based on Ofsted, Every Child Matters and Extended Services. Price £100
- Lesson Observation System – The LOS is based on Ofsted criteria for successful lessons. For the teacher it encourages self-appraisal and professional development against these criteria. For the school leader it allows judgements to be entered within a system that automatically provides reports and action plan formats based on strengths and areas for development. The system complements the new statutory framework for performance management. Price £70
- Pupil Tracking and Target Setting system – Updated for the new target setting framework, and the requirements of APP, this fully interactive system tracks and targets pupils against the three KS2 targets: English and Maths L4+, English 2 Levels and Maths 2 Levels. All teachers have to do is update their assessments on a termly basis and the PTTS system provides a whole range of individual, class, cohort and school reports including estimates, progress rates, grade distributions and a tracking analysis for each pupil against each national target.
Price £200
- Formative Assessment System for Tracking Maths – The FAST Maths system is a powerful teaching, learning and assessment tool that enables teachers to easily track pupil progress against the key skills in the renewed numeracy framework from Foundation to Year 6/7 extension. For every pupil, class or year group the system will report on (i) what they can do, (ii) what they need to do next, and (iii) the extent to which they are on track in terms of year group expectations. The system provides a range of features and automatic reports for the class teacher and school leaders that allow for both numerical and curricular analysis and target-setting. Price £100
- Formative Assessment System for Tracking Writing – The FAST Writing system offers the same powerful aid to teachers and school leaders as FAST Maths but is based on progression from Level 1 to Level 5 and for Year Groups 1 to 6. The Fast Writing system also provides links to pupil self-assessment with a range of ‘pupil speak’ formats to enable pupils to review their own progress and set their own targets.
